Dr. Kunal Gandhi is a highly experienced nephrologist currently serving as Director – Nephrology at Sharda Care - Healthcity. With over 12 years of expertise in Nephrology and Kidney Transplantation, he is known for delivering comprehensive and advanced kidney care.
He completed his DM in Nephrology from the prestigious Sawai Man Singh Medical College and Hospital and has since worked with some of India's leading hospitals, gaining extensive experience in managing complex and high-risk nephrology cases.
Dr. Gandhi specializes in kidney transplantation, including ABO-incompatible transplants and deceased donor transplants, ensuring advanced, evidence-based care for patients with end-stage renal disease. His keen interest in interventional nephrology has led him to successfully perform more than 1,000 procedures, including kidney biopsies and both chronic (permacath) and acute dialysis catheter insertions.
An active academic contributor, he has authored over 20 publications in reputed national and international peer-reviewed journals. He has also played a significant role in landmark clinical trials evaluating emerging therapies for chronic kidney disease and kidney transplantation.
